AND AUTHORIZINU THE EXECUTION OF �1 DEEll

THEREIN.
Be it resolved by the City Gouncll of the City of Lyn-
wood, Galifornia, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Clty Council of the City of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the 20th day of June , 194 4_ac-
cepted the offer of Oldin B. Knox and Josenhine V. Knox,
husband and wiPe as ,joint tena.nts,

for the purchase of a11 of the right, title and interest oP
, the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lyin� within
said City;
NOW, THE:REFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resplve, determine and order.as follows:
Section l, That the Clty of Lynwood shall convey to
the said` Oldin B, Knox and Josephine V. Knox, riusband and �
vaife ae ,joint tenanta, '
said property hereinafter described, sub�ect to,conditions,
re�trictiona, reservations and easements of reeord.
That the City shall convey to said purchaser no other
or greater title to 3aid lande than has been aoquired by
sald City,
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynv�ood of
the aum of Three Hundred Seventy-five and no/100 Dollars
(�375.00!) the Mayor of the City of Lynwood is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
tain land herelnafter described, aonveying� the same aa above
s.pecified to Oldin B. Knox and Josephine V. Knox, husband and
wife as ,jbint tenants,

on behalf of the 3aid Gi.ty of Lynwood, that the Cit�
' C1erk of sald City is hereby authorized to attest said
deed and to afTix the City se�l of the City of Lynwood
thereto, on behalf of the said City of LynH�ood.
- � Section 3. That the Mayor and City C1erk af said City,
on behalf of sald City, are hereby authorized to �ign any
escrow agreement necessary to complete the transfer of said
land�.
Section 4 'Phrat the City Clerk of said City is author- � •
ized to deliver said deed to th� grantee therein nnmed, on
behalf of the said Gity of Lynwood, as soon as, or upon con-
diti.on that tlie sr�id conaideration shall hRVe been paid to
said Ci ty,
