Be it resolved by the Gity Gouncil of the City of Lyn-
wood, Calif.arnia, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City.of Lynwood has I
heretofore, on the lAth clay of .7anuar�_, 194�„ ac�
cepted the offer rof Robert Pd, Downey and- Ibbie T�d, Do�vney
for the purchase of all of the right,_title and interest of
the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lying within
said City; ,
NOW, THF:REFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyn-
tivood does hereby resolve, dete:mine and order Rs follows:
Section 1. That the.City of Lynwood shall oonvey to
the said Robert hi, Downey and Ibbie I�?. Downe,y, husband
and �vif e as �oint tenants
said property hereinafter describ'ed, sub,�ect.to conditions,
restrictions, reservations and easements of record.
That.the,City.shall convey to said purchaser no other
or greater title to said lands than has been acquired by
said City:
Sectio,n 2. That upon payment_to the City of Lynvrood of
the of One Thousand and No�One-hundredths Dollars
(�1,000.00) the Mayor of the City of Lynwood is hereby auth-.
oxized �nd directed to execute a deed of conveyanee of cer-
tain land hereinaf•ter. de,scrlbed eonveying the same as above
specified='to Robert M. Downey and Ibbie M. Dou.mey

Clerk of said City.is hereby authoriz�3 to attest said
deed-and to ��ffix the Ci.ty seal of the City of Lynwood
thereto; . on betialf' of tfie said City of Lyn�a�ood,
Section 3, Th�t the NIayor-and'City Glerk of said Cit,y,
on behalf �of said C+ty, are het�eby authorized to sign any
escrow agreement neceasary to complete the transfer of said
lands. '
Sec'tion 4, That the Cit,y Clerk'of. said City is author-
ized to deliver said deed to tlie �rantee therein named, on
, beh�ilf of ti�e said City of Lyni�!ood, as soon as, or upon oon-
flition that the"staid consideration shall have been paid to
said City.
