A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
. CITX OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID •
FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITY OWNED TAX DEEDED
REAL PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
, does hereby resolve as follewst
That the City of Lynwood, California desires to sell
the City�owned tax deeded property hereinafter described for the �
purpose of getting said property back on the tax rolls and liqu3-
dating so far as possible the exi�ting taxes and assessment en-
cumbrances of record now on said land:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the written bid of
ihomas E, Shook and. Viola P. Shook �
now on file with the City Clerk of the City of Lynu�ood, wherein
the bidder offers to purchase the tax deeded property hereinafter
described upon the partial payment plan and which bid was in all
respects made in accordance with the provisions of Resolution No.
� 1487 of the City of Lynwood, a,nd tl�hich bid was publicly opened by
� the City Clerk at a i--- regular meeting of the City Council,
upon the 17th d�y of August __ 194 3, is the highest and
best bid for the sale of said lands. That said.lands described
Sn said bid are as follows, to tiuit:
, � Lot 1141, Tra.ct 3025, as per map recorded �
in Book 35, Pages 43 and 44, of Iviaps, Re-
cords of Los.Angeles County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that'the purchase price offered
for said lands is in the sum of �400.00 , payablev�F?00.00 accom�
panying bid,^and �20.00 per month tnereafter; until fully paid be-
ginning on September 15, 1943.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that it ie for the best interest
of the people of the City of Lynwood, California, to se11 said �
lands to said bidder for said purchase price in accordanoe with
the terms of said bid;
NOW THEREFORE, it is further resolved, that the said
' bid for said lands is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk
� of the City of Lynwood, California are hereby expressly authorized
to execute in duplicate, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood,
California, a written contract for ti5e sale of said lands to said
, purchaser in accordance with a.nd by virtue of the authority in-
vested in t}iem so to do in Resolution No. 1487.
