1Sr?IEREAS, the State of California, througn its Departsent
of Public i"?orks, Division of Nigh4vays, has presented a
memcrandvn of agreement in accordance with a pro,ject statement
submitted by the City ior expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax
for the 1943-45 biennium allocated for State highways in the
City of L;�nwood; and
1i'HERF.AS, the city council 'r_as heard read said agreement
in fu1J_ and. is famili2r rvith tne contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the cit,y council of the
City of Lynwoo& that sa.id agreec�ent for expenditure of the 1/4
cent gas tax allocated for State high�Nays be and the same is
hereby approved and the �.�Ia�or and the City Clerk are directed
to sign tne sar�e on behali of said City. ' � ,
