GITY OF LYNV700D�,CALIFOHNIA� CALLING A
' GENERAL DHUNIGIPAL ELECTION IN�ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE

�Be it resolved'by the City Council of the.City of Lynwood,
CaliYornia, as,followe:, .
Section 1. That a General Pdunicipal Election be and the
same ia hereby called in said City, at the time, and in the •
manner provided by the laws of the�8tate of California, and .
the City Clerk be, and he ie hereby instructed and authorize@ -
to publieh e"NOTICE OF ELECTION,u as required by the oY •
the 8ta.te of California, which shall contain a statement of
the time.of the eleetion, the officea to be filled thereat, �
the propoaitione to be voted on, and brieflq a general descrip— �
' „ tion of the voting precinets and location of the polling places.
5ection 2. That there ehall be submitted to the qualified
electora of sald City, at said election, the following propoai—
tiont �
"Shall the compensation of each member of the City Couneil
of the City of Lqnwood be increased from �10.00 per month to
�25.00 per monthY° '
uShall an ordinance oP the incorporated City of Lynwood, .
California, creating and eatabliehing a Civil.Service.Syatem
for the aelection, employment, suapension, diecharge and*_•re—
tirement of appointed officers and employees oY said City;
and providing for the making of necessary rules and regula—.
tiona and fixing of salaries thereunder; and providing a ,
penalty for the vlolation thereof, be adopted7" .
Seetion 3. That for the purpose of holding said General
Municipal Election there shall be seven (7).voting precinete
to be flesignated as A, B. C, D, E, F and G, consiatin$ oY the
