A F.ESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUPdCIL OF THE CI`�'Y .OF
LYNI'�OOD DECLARIYdG ITS IN^tENTION TO CRDER STREET
` LIGHTING SERPICE ON CEf�T9IN STREETS IN THE CITY
OF LYDR"OOD FOR A PEkIOD BEGINNING JULY 1, 1942,
AND EPIDIIdG JUNi 50, 1943. � ,
Be it resolved by the City Council of tne City of �
Lynmood as follows:-. . ,
SEGTION ]., That the public interest an3 convenience
require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Lynvrood to order the furnSshing-.of, for a period commencing -
July 1, 1942, and ending June 30, 1943�, the service necessary to •
� inaintain and`illuminate by� means of electricGl energy the sus- .
pended electric street lamps of 250 and 600 candle power and 250
candle power lamps on orname'ntal standards in certain streets in
the City of Lynwood within the district described in Section 2
hereof and to be knovan!as Lighting Maintenance District No. 1�
� of the City of L;�mvood, in a_ccordance �aith pl�ans and- specifica.tions -
therefor, to,be prepared, furnished.a.nd filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Lynviood as hereina.fter.provided.

SECTION 3. Tha.t the said nroposed,improvement if hereby '
referred to the City Engineer and s�id City Eng•ineer is�hereby
directed to make and file v:=ith the City Clerk of sai� City, a re-
port in vrriting presenting the follotiving:
(a) Plans a.rid specifiaation� for the proposed
improvement. ' , ,
(b) An estimate of tne cost of said improvement for '
the period of time.specified in t'r_e Resolution of Intention.
(c) A diagrd.m shovJing the assessment district above
referred to and also the boundaries and dimensions of trie re-
spective suG-divisions of land �ithin said d_istrict, each of
said sub-divisions being given a•separate numbe on said diagram.
(d) A proposed assessment of the totel amount of costs
and expenses of the proposed improvement uoon the several sub-
divisions of land in said district in proposition to the estimated
benefits to be.received 'oy s�1d subdivisions. Said aseessments
shall refer to such subdivisions upon�said dia.gram by the re-
spective number thereon and it.shall shova the names of the o�rners,.
if.known, otherwise designating them zs unkno�vn.
SECTION"4, That the said contempla:ted improvement shall
be had and taken und_er an Act.of.the Legislature of the State of

and other public places and for the lighting thereof by electric
current; gas or other illuminating a.gent; and for the assessment
