- THEREFROM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did on
- the 16th day of June, 1942, direct the preparation of an In-
nestigation Report under the provisions of the "Special Assess-
ment Investigation, Limitation�and Ma3ority Protest Act of
1931, (llivision 4•of the Streets and Highways Code of the
Stete o£ California) upon tha proposed improvement of portions
of Agnes Avenue, Magnolia Avenize, Bradfield Avenue, Ger.trude
Drive,�Cornish Avenuey Muriel Drive, Caress 3treet, Alma Ave-
. nue, Mallison Avenue, Ruth Avenue, Otie.Street, Mcllerr_ey Avenue,
Alexander Avenue., Lewis Road, Standard Avenue, Hulme Avenue,
Colyer Avenue, Sampson Avenue, Jackson Avenue, Washington Ave-
nue, Pino Avenue, E1m Avenue, Pandleton Street, ImperiaT Aig�way, '
Locust Street, Lugo Avenue, Platt Avenue, Brnestine Abenue,
Sullis Road, Fernwood Avenue, Nichols P_venue, Louise Street and
certain allays, inc�uding all intersections of streets and

WHEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
a hearing was thereon by said City.Council in the manner
provided in said Act above rePerred to; and �
W:iEREAS, the Ci�ty Council of tHe City of Lynwood has here-
. tofore and on the 24th day of'Au�uet, 1942, adopted its F.esolu-.
tion of Report on said hearing. =Said �Resolution of Report was,

� WHEREAS', less than thirty (30) days having expired since•
the date ofethe filing of said Report under said Act above re-

' WI�REAS, it is deemed advisable end that the public in- ��
terest, convenience'and nec�essity require the�omission o£ cer-
tain portions of the work and improvement as proposed in said •
Resolution No. 1457 which portions are referrad to more par-
ticularly hereinafter; and
VJHEREAS,'the City Engineer of the City of Lynrvood. has here-
' tofore filed with the Clerk.of this City Council his estimate .
of the cost of each proposed aeparate omission from said pro-
posed work or improvement and this City Council desires to
onit such portions of the proposed work or improvement as are
.� re£erred.to iri.said estimates and hereinafter, arid desires fur-
bher to eliminate from the.district heretofore designated as
the district or lands to be specially assessed to pay the cost ._ . .
