RESOLUTION SELLING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
AND AUTHORIZING iHE EXECUTION OF A DEED
UFON PAYIviEidT OF THE CONSIDERATION NAIviED
THEREIN.
, Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn—
wood, California, as foll'ows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the l8t day of December , 1942 , accepted
the offer of Edv;ard A. Shively and. Hazel A. Shively, husb?nd and ��ife,
as �oint tenants, with right of survivorship
for the purchase of all of the right, title
and intereat of the City of Lymvood in and to certain lands
lying within said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City oP Lyn—
wood doea hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood ahall convey to
the said Edward A. Shively and Hazel H. Shively, husband and wife,
i as ,joint tenanta, with right oP survivorship
said property hereinafter described, sub�ect to
conditions, restrictions, reservations and easements of re�
cord and sub�ect to assessments and reasseasments and bonded
liene of record. That the City shall convey to said pur—
chaser no other or greater title to said landa than has
been acquired by said City.
f Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
the sum of One Thnusand Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars and no/100
(�1450.00'� the Niayor of the City of Lynwood is hereby auth—
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer—
tain land hereinafter described, conveying the same as above
specified to Edward A. Shively and Hazel A. Shively, husband and wife
as �oint tenants, with rieht oP survivorship
on behalf of the said City of Lynwood, and that
the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to atteat
said deed and to affix the City seal of the incorporated City

of I;ynwood thereto, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood;
Section 3: That the Iviayor and City Clerk of said City;
on behalf of sald City, are hereby aizthorized to sign any
escrow agreement nece��ary to comp�ere the tranafer of said
larids:
Section 4: That the City Cleriz of said City is author-
ized to deliver said deed to the grantee therein riamed; on
behalf of the said City of Lynwood, as soon as; or upon con=
dition that the said consideration shall have been paid to
said City:
Section 5. The property coveyed by this agreement is
described as follows; to w1t:
Lota 37 and 38, Tract 2551, as per map
recorded in Book 24, Pagea '78, `79 and
80 of Maps Records of Loe Angeles Cou'nty,
Californiai reserving in the City of�Lyn-
wood, Californla an easement for atreet,
sidewalk and utillty purpoaes, the easterly
_ten (10) feet oR said lands.
